This page is designed to assist users, with and without disabilities, in finding the many accessible outdoor recreation activities in Montana. Site locations can be viewed using Google Earth by downloading the feature coordinates. Users are encouraged to add comments about accessibility based on their personal experiences at sites in order to help future users determine accessibility.
For this project we began assessing sites in Region 1 and Region 2 and have continued to add sites from other regions as we are able. Currently we do not have any sites in Region 6 yet, but it is our goal to continue adding sites from around the entire state. If you are interested in helping us with this endeavour, please contact us about training we can provide.

The information for each site was accurate as of the posting date. Be aware that conditions can change suddenly due to weather or a variety of other circumstances. Please verify conditions before you travel, read user comments associated with locations, be knowledgeable of the inherent risks associated with outdoor recreation, and be prepared for emergency situations. You are responsible for your own safety and well being. Keep yourself well informed, engage in proper training for the activities you are participating in, and safely enjoy the many outdoor recreation opportunities Montana has to offer.
