Rock Creek Horse Camp.

General information.

Region: Region 2--West Central.
Dominant Setting: mountain, forest, lake.
Location: From Darby, MT travel north for 4 miles on Highway 93. Turn west (left) onto Lake Como Rd. Follow for 3.5 miles. Turn east (left) into the campground (located on stretch of road between beach turn off and boat launch turn off).
Manager: USDA Forest Service.
Amenities: accessible bathrooms, pit toilets.
There is a use fee at this location.
Pets are allowed (on leash).

Site features: parking pad size of 36 by 14 feet, picnic table is located along an accessible route and there is wheelchair seating.

Additional information about this location.

1: There is one accessible site at this campground. However there is a somewhat significant slope to the parking area. The campsite surface is packed gravel, although the accessible picnic table at the campsite is located on a cement pad. There is also a raised fire pit. There is railing to tie up horses, but there is no accessible route to the railing. The accessible restroom is nearby.
