Location: From Darby, MT travel north for 4 miles on Highway 93. Turn west (left) onto Lake Como Rd. Follow for 3 miles. Turn north (right) and follow signs to swim area.
Manager: USDA Forest Service.
Amenities: accessible bathrooms, pit toilets, trash containers, drinkable water, parking.
There is a use fee at this location.
Pets are allowed (on leash).

Length: 0.25 to 0.5 mile.
Other trail features: benches, some benches have back support.

Site name: There are two accessible picnic areas. One at the swimming area (no grills) and one further up the lake shore (has bbq grills).

Picnic table information: fixed picnic tables, along accessible routes, picnic tables have wheelchair seating spaces.

Features: dedicated swimming area, sandy beach, changing room.

1: Picture 1--There are two accessible picnic tables at the swimming area. The sandy beach is great but has a very soft surface. The water level fluctuates since this is a reservoir and can be quite low mid to late summer.

2: Picture 2--Accessible parking, restrooms and changing areas at Lake Como recreation area.

3: Picture 3--Second accessible picnic area at Lake Como. Go past the swim area and this picnic area is next.

4: Picture 4--Trailhead for accessible 1/3 mile paved trail along Lake Como. This is right before the upper campground. There is a nice parking lot with an accessible latrine and parking space.

5: Picture 5--Bench along trail at Lake Como.
