This is a developed, well maintained recreation area, that provides many accesssible recreation opportunities.

The RV only camping sites are paved with paved access to the comfort station. However the RV sites do not have picnic tables or grills.

There are also camping units that are either tent or RV. These units have gravel parking pads and do have end accessible picnic tables and nonaccessible grills. The tables and grills are on a natural surface of grass that are mostly level but the grass may be clumped in areas causing some tread obstacles.

There are single picnic tables in addition to the group picnic shelter. Some of the single picnic tables are on a peninsula with a paved path to the area. The tables are on packed gravel and there are many with smooth transition from the pavement to the gravel to provide easy access.
