Additional information about this location.

1: There are several features that hindered accessibility at Giant Springs the day I visited. For example the bathroom door was sticky and was difficult to open and the door to the visitor center was a round door knob instead of a handle.

In the parking lot there are marked accessible parking spaces, however the slope is 3.4% for these spaces and to reach the visitor center, hatchery, restrooms and path along the river the sidewalk/access route has a slope of up 7.4%

In the picnic area, all the tables have accessible seating areas, however there is only one table that has a paved path to the table with a cement pad under the table and that table does not have an accessible grill associated with it. To reach the other tables one must traverse over grassy areas with uneven surfaces due to grassy clumps, however many of these tables do have accessible grills associated with them. The group picnic area does not have an accessible route to it.

There are several accessible fishing piers along the path that parallels the river. Several are over ponds along the path and one is over the river.
