Region: Region 2--West Central.
Dominant Setting: mountain, forest, river/stream.
Location: Powell Campground is located on Rd. # 102, one half mile off of US Highway 12, near milepost 162. This road is paved and is the access to Powell Ranger Station and Lochsa Lodge. This junction is 60 miles southwest of Missoula and 88 miles northeast of Kooskia.

This is a real nice campground with a campground host. The road system is all paved and campsites 12-34 are all electric. Some campsites are also reservable.
