1: Picture 1--Entry sign to the "Sagebrush Flats" trail head and picnic area within Thompson Park.

2: Picture 2--Trail head parking with accessible parking & latrine.

3: Picture 3--Nice table & grill. The gravel trail surface is somewhat loose.

4: Picture 4--Trail head parking and accessible latrine at the Lower Eagle's Nest access point.

5: Picture 5--At the Lower Eagle Nest site, a small grouping of 3 accessible tables with fire grill. The gravel trail from the parking lot is somewhat rough.

6: Picture 6--At the Lion's Den, a nice paved parking lot. The trail to the latrine is gravel with a portion of it having a cross slope of 3.9 %.

7: Picture 7--The trail to the picnic table is gravel and a little rough, especially transitioning off of the paving.

8: Picture 8--Table and grill at the north end access site of the park. The gravel trail is somewhat rough because of the vegetation in the trail tread way.

9: Picture 9--The park has some really nice interpretive signs about wildlife, fisheries, history, & plants of the area scattered at various access points.

Thompson Park is a municipal recreation area with 25 miles of non-motorized trails for hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking. The Sagebrush Flats, Lions Den, & Lower Eagle's Nest picnic areas & the Eagles's Nest trail-head offer convenient trail access and are equipped with picnic tables, cooking grills and latrines for great family outings.
