Northshore Campground.

General information.

Region: Region 1--Northwest.
Dominant Setting: mountain, forest, lake.
Location: From Trout Creek follow Hwy 200 northwest for 3 miles to North Shore Drive. Turn left and follow for 1 mile to the campground entrance.
Manager: USDA Forest Service.
Amenities: pit toilets, drinkable water.
There is a use fee at this location.
Pets are allowed (on leash).

Site name: Campsite #11.
Type of site or sites: RV site.
Site features: parking pad size of 55 by 23 feet, picnic table is located along an accessible route and there is wheelchair seating, BBQ with cooking surface within accessible reach range.
This site has a campground host.
Comment: Campsite #11 is a real nice accessible campsite. There are other campsites that come very close to meeting accessibility standards.

Site name: Day-use area.
Estimated number of accessible picnic tables: 5.
Picnic table information: fixed picnic tables, along accessible routes, picnic tables have wheelchair seating spaces.
Other features: BBQ with an accessible cooking surface height (15 to 34 inches from the ground), sheltered area.
Comment: Two of the picnic tables are under individual shelters. There is a paved trail system to all of the picnic tables.

The campground has 16 (3 pull thru's) sites including one host site, with tables and fire rings and able to accomodate up to a 40' rv. Campground roads and campsite parking spurs are paved. Amenities include a campground host, potable water, vault toilets and a fully developed boat launch with dock and boat parking. There are 6 picnic sites with picnic tables (2 with covers) near the boat ramp for day use only.
