Location pictures.

1: Picture 1--Two accessible, unisex, bathrooms and an 8-foot, 5 degree slope between the campground road and the bathroom entrance ways. A 1.5-inch step between the gravel access route and the concrete bathroom floor can be seen.

2: Picture 2--View of the short, steep boat launch from the campground road. Part of the lake can be seen in the background. The small amount of shoreline (about 30 feet) is the only open shoreline available at the campground without bushwhacking through vegetation and soft loose ground between campsites and the lake.

3: Picture 3--Two campsites with a large, shared, parking pad allowing two mobile homes to park side-by-side. The lake can be seen through a strip of trees and shrubs behind the campsites.

4: Picture 4--A campsite set back in the trees. A brown metal 'bear box' for food storage can be seen next to the gravel parking pad.

5: Picture 5--The larger of two parking areas at the campground. This parking area is a gravel parking pad that can accommodate 8 vehicles. Parking in the first or last space would allow ample room for a side-mounted vehicle lift or for a ramp to be extended.

6: Picture 6--Every campsite has a picnic table similar to this one. The picnic table is large, very sturdy, and has an extended tabletop providing a wheelchair seating space. The table is permanently positioned on a gravel pad that extends from the campsite parking pad. Notice that while the picnic table pad is level, it it does slope away away from the wheelchair seating position at the picnic table. The slope (3.5 degrees) is most pronounced at this particular table.

Additional information about this location.

1: The turnoff from Highway 83 to access this campground is between mileposts 34 and 35. Another website providing information about this location is: publiclands.org.

2: The wheelchair-accessible end of most picnic tables are on a 2.5-3.5 degree slope that slopes down away from the table. There is also a 6 degree slope between the boat launch/shoreline access point and the campground road.

3: The campground is open from May 1st through October 1st. There is a 14-day limit on camping. There is also an older, more primitive campground adjacent to this campground. Take the first left turn (road 79L) immediately before entering the developed campground to enter the older more primitive campground. Campsites in the primitive campground have fire pits, but no other amenities.
