2: The turnoff from Highway 83 to access this campground is between mileposts 15 and 16.

3: There is a large dedicated swimming area with a sandy beach, but there is not an accessible route down to it. There is also an interpretive/nature trail, but the trail is primitive and not accessible. Furthermore, fallen trees were blocking access to parts of the trail in June, 2008.

4: The accessible campsite (number 12) is only reserved until 6:00 PM. After 6:00 PM anyone may camp in the campsite if it has not already been occupied.

The dock at the boat ramp (the only one) is accessible in early summer when the water level is high, but changes with lower water levels. I was at Big Larch in mid-August and found a step down (about 10 inches) from the shore to the floating dock, thus making the dock and boating inaccessible.
