Location pictures.

1: Picture 1--Accessible campsite (campsite number 16) showing paved parking pad and paved access route to a wheelchair-friendly picnic table and BBQ stand, and electric hookup. The paved path can be seen continuing on toward the boat launch area. This picture also shows the excellent view of the lake.

2: Picture 2--Accessible campsite (campsite number 15) showing paved parking pad and paved access route to a covered shelter with wheelchair-friendly picnic table and BBQ stand, and an electrical hookup. The paved path can be seen continuing onto the accessible bathrooms and showers.

3: Picture 3--One of several pit toilets scattered throughout the campground. While these facilities are accessible, they may be located in inaccessible locations. This one in particular has a 3.5-inch step between the gravel access route and the concrete floor of the facility.

4: Picture 4--The inaccessible route from the campground road down to the dedicated swimming area. The route is steep, narrow, and unstable, and has large rocks creating high tread obstacles. A wide section of small driftwood derbies must also be crossed before reaching the small gravel beach.

Additional information about this location.

1: There are a few sheltered picnic areas with picnic tables that have a wheelchair seating space, but there is no access route leading to them. There are 4-inch-high speed bumps across the campground road that must be crossed when traveling along the road. There is only limited accessible shoreline for fishing or swimming. The dedicated swimming area is completely inaccessible, and there is no parking at the swimming area. Some otherwise accessible pit toilets are located in inaccessible locations or are made inaccessible because of a step between the access route and the concrete bathroom pad. A pay phone, change machine, and firewood are available at the campground.

2: Other (non-accessible) campsites in the campground have paved parking pads, accessible picnic tables that may or may not be located along an accessible route, and BBQ pits with cooking surfaces lower than 15 inches. Most campsites are fairly level and open, but areas of uneven ground may create a hazard.
